Hello, butterflies, hello, hello. Welcome to Monique's Tarot. How are you, butterflies? To get things started here, let's burn a bit of Palo Santo. Palo Santo Welcoming in those messages from the spiritual guides and also clearing out that energy that no longer serves us. As always, butterflies, it is such an honor to bring these messages to you all each and every week. I hope you all have been having such a beautiful spring, especially as we welcome in this energy of the new moon in Taurus. This moon is going to take place between May 7th and the 8th, and it's also a late moon on the 7th, so it's happening at 1122 pm Eastern time, depending on where you are in the world.

And before we get into a reading, let's just talk about the energy surrounding a new moon in Taurus. So within tarot, taurus is represented by the Hierophant. So this is a time of great wisdom, a time of kind of reconciling with yourself, but also, with Taurus being an earth sign, this is a time where you may feel more of the home inclination. So what does your home look like? How are you feeling in your home? Are you taking care of all of those resources? How is your health? What are you manifesting? It's an important time to kind of take stock of the home front. And with Taurus also being the mother of the zodiac, this is a very warm energy. So there's an energy that requires you to forgive yourself, to let go of those notions of you're not doing the right thing or things aren't going your way. Remember that with mothering energy there's that kind of reassurance where you always feel like the mom has the right thing to say. Stay with that energy butterflies. Know that your spiritual guides have your back, know that you're doing a great job, know that you're doing enough. And encourage yourself to allow yourself to take time to really line up your resources. So if things feel off in the family, maybe sit down and have that conversation. If things feel off in your finances, perhaps it's time to really take a few hours and sift through everything. So again, those finances, those material needs, this is the time of really diving into that energy and with Taurus it's also a fixed sign. So this is a very determined new moon, like you're planting new seeds, so you may feel even more energy or more. Push to do the right thing, be gentle with yourself in that energy.

Just allow that determination energy to flow naturally and it'll serve you well because as you hug and embrace yourself with this Taurus energy, it brings in the planet of Venus, which Taurus is connected to. So Venus, of course, is all about the love, the physical, the mental, how you're connecting. Also, how are you connecting to your artistic harmony? It's a beautiful time to just dive into that and find that balance and also make those decisions that are for your well-being and ultimately set up your home and your health, and that all protects your spiritual home.

You have to make sure you're taking the steps.

Cats just sleep all day, but there's a fire that needs to build first for this cat here to chase it. So the guides are really asking you to be able to rest so that you can go after that fire, and part of that looks like going deeper, going within. But I can see for many of you, this fire is coming out right now. I can see that you are honoring that inner willpower. So again, um, there's some energy that might be very specific for someone, but we'll talk through that For the five of swords to be upright within your elevation of spirit.

I'm seeing here that some of you are in this combative mode with how you're speaking. It's like you're fighting yourself or you're fighting others and it's tearing you down. Yeah, I can see that some of you feel like some things aren't being revealed right now. Yeah, I can see that some of you feel like some things aren't being revealed right now, but they will be.

With a moon card being upright, it's like soon all will be revealed. It's like this represents that Pisces energy with the moon card. So there's an energy of going deep with Pisces energy. Also, when you're in Pisces energy, with the Five of Swords. Sometimes it can feel like you're in this emotional battle and you go into these really low depths, almost like someone might be dealing with some depression because of their thoughts and what they're having or what they're saying to themselves. So be very mindful of that butterflies, very mindful of that butterflies. And if you are experiencing that deep depressive energy, there's a need here also with that Pisces energy, to be gentle with yourself, that mothering energy, that womb temple energy. It's important to make sure that you're acknowledging how you feel. Are you acknowledging that anger? Are you storing it in your womb? So I see that there's a call to slow down with the eight of swords being reversed.

With the eight of swords, sometimes it's best to see things from a bird's eye view, which you can see here. It's like sometimes you can be too close to things or too involved with things, and there's a need here to kind of take a step back from all that so that you can really connect with what you need to do. Some of you are healing from overworking here, whether it's in business or maybe looking at some material things. It's time to get a bird's-eye view in here. Maybe some of you are working with a therapist of the past. Here I'm seeing the High Priestess, something about an energy of someone who's very wise. It's like you're getting over, like some of you are healing from a situation where you felt slighted, like you didn't trust your heart, your judgment, like you knew all the signs but you didn't trust your judgment. There's brighter days that are coming here with the sun, so it's time to step into who you are. It's what the guides are saying. Sometimes, if you don't know, you don't know and you don't need to know. But it's almost like other people are fighting themselves.

This could also mean you're trying to avoid something here. Work-wise, I am seeing the eight of wands. There's a call here to slow down as well. There's a lot of slow down energy with healing, and part of that is getting into that feminine energy, the more mothering energy that comes Taurus energy. So there's a need here with the eight of wands, to slow down so that you could possibly see this possibility, because some of you are definitely overworking.

Like everyone doesn't believe in this relationship or this particular person that's affecting a lot of your personal life, even though this is in the personal life position for some reason I'm getting the energy of this could possibly be a community member, a friend, a family member that is having this effect on how you see yourself, based on how they're not celebrating you or everyone not celebrating the relationship. Let's get one more in here. There's a lot that's needing to be said here with this new moon and Taurus. Yeah, there's a four of cups here, like, um, there's an offer that might come through from this past, leo, that some of you are just not going to take because you don't feel like you're equal here. You don't feel like you're actually being seen for who you are, so I don't see many of you taking the offer when this Leo comes back around, or this Aries, leo or Sagittarius, but for some reason, there's heavy Leo energy that's coming through. Yeah, what's done is done with the Ten of Swords. What's done is done with the Ten of Swords, yeah, and it's not a good investment for the family to go down this route, so be mindful of that.

There's something here about history, something of the past that's coming through here. There's something about this teenager bringing you two back together in some form, maybe even like a community connection to a young, fiery, spirited, firecracker young teenager. So maybe there was even this energy, that there's a lot of energy coming through here, an energy of a young teenage, like two teenage boys that come together in a relationship because of the parents, and there's something about one son is maybe a little bit more intellectual, the other son is a little bit more fiery. That's coming through. But I can see here that the communication has been tough. The communication has been very tough.
